آپ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کی توبہ کا سبب لومڑی بنی: ایک دن آپ شکار کے لئے تشریف لے گئے آپ نے لومڑی یا خرگوش کو دوڑایا اورآپ اس کی طلب میں تھے تو غیبی آواز دینے والے نے آواز دی اے ابراہیم کیا تمہیں اس کام کے لیے پیدا کیا گیا ہے یا تمہیں اس بات کا حکم دیا گیا ہے پھر آپ کے پچھلے بلند حصے سے آواز آئی قسم بخدا تم اس مقصد کے لیے پیدا نہیں کیے گئے اور نہ تمہیں اس بات کا حکم دیا گیا ہے آپ اپنے والد ماجد کے چرواہے کے پاس تشریف لے گئے آپ نے چرواہے کا اونیٰ ہوا جبہ لے کر پہنا اور اپنا گھوڑا ما سازوسامان اسے دے دیا پھر جنگل میں تشریف لے گئے اس کے بعد مکہ مکرمہ میں داخل ہوئے۔

آپ رحمتہ اللہ علیہ کے اقوال:حضرت ابراھیم بن بشار رحمۃ اللہ علیہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے حضرت ابراہیم بن ادھم کی صحبت اختیار کی عرض کیا کہ مجھے آپ اس معاملے کی ابتدا کے بارے میں کچھ بتائیں تو انہوں نے یہ بات بتائی انہوں نے فرمایا تم کھانا حلال تلاش کرو اور تم پر کوئی حرج نہیں کہ تم رات کو عبادت کرو اور دن میں روزہ رکھو۔

حضرت ابراھیم بن بشار رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کا قول:حضرت ابراھیم بن بشار رحمۃ اللہ علیہ فرماتے ہیں کہ میں نے امام ابراہیم بن ادھم بن منصور رحمتہ اللہ علیہ سے بڑھ کر کوئی تقوٰی والا شخص نہیں پایا۔

گوشت مہنگا ہو گیا:آپ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کو کسی نے خبر دی کے گوشت مہنگا ہو گیا ہے تو آپ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے ارشاد فرمایا کہ اسے سستا کردو( یعنی اسے خریدنا بند کر دو)۔
Sayings of Ibrahim bin Adham: When something becomes expensive, I break it, so instead of being expensive, it becomes cheap.

علیہ کا شعر: جب کوئی چیز مہنگی ہو جاتی ہے تو میں اسے چھور دیتا ہوں،تو وہ مہنگی
ہونے کے بجائے سستی ہو جاتی ہے۔
Dua of the Ibrahim bin Adham (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): You, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) often used to recite this supplication, May Allah turns me from the humiliation of my disobedience to the honor of obeying Him.
آپ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کی دعا: آپ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ اکثر یہ دعا پڑھا کرتے تھے،یا اللہ مجھے اپنی نافرمانی کی ذلت سےاپنی اطاعت کی عزت کی طرف پلٹ دے۔
To attain the status of the righteous, six rules of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him):
Hazrat Ahmad bin Hadrawiyyah (may Allah have mercy on him) says that Hazrat Ibrahim bin Adham (may Allah have mercy on him) said to a person during Tawaf that you cannot attain the status of the righteous until you adopt these six principles.

فرماتے ہیں کہ حضرت ابراہیم بن ادھم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے طواف کے دوران ایک شخص سے فرمایا کہ تم اس
وقت تک صالحین کا درجہ نہیں پا سکتے جب تک
ان چھ اصولوں کو نہ اپنا لو۔
Six principles.
چھ اصول۔۔۔۔۔
01: Close the door of comfort and open the door of hardship.
02: Close the door of honor and open the door of humiliation.
03: Close the door of rest and open the door of hard work.
04: Close the door of sleep and open the door of awakening at night.
05: Close the door of wealth and open the door of poverty.
06: Close the door of hope and open the door of death.
01: آسائش کا دروازہ بند
کر کے سختی کا دروازہ کھولو۔
02:عزت کا دروازہ بند کر کے
ذلت (یعنی عاجزی و تواضع) کا دروازہ کھولو۔
03:آرام کا دروازہ بند کر
کے محنت اور مشقت کا دروازہ کھولو۔
04:نیند کا دروازہ بند کر
کے شب بیداری کا دروازہ کھولو۔
05:مال داری کا دروازہ بند
کر کے فقر کا دروازہ کھولو۔

کے موت کا دروازہ کھولو۔
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Hit my head: Hazrat Ibrahim bin Adham, we were guarding a vineyard when a soldier passed by and said, "Give me some of these grapes." He started hitting you with a whip, so you bowed your blessed head and said, hit the head of the person who has disobeyed Allah for a long time. He humbled himself and left.
آپ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے فرمایا میرے سر کو مارو:حضرت ابراہیم بن ادھم ہم ایک انگور کے باغ کی حفاظت کر رہے تھے کہ وہاں سے ایک فوجی گزرا اس نے کہا مجھے اس انگور میں سے کچھ دیجئے انہوں نے فرمایا اس کے مالک نے مجھے اس کا حکم نہیں دیا اس نے آپ کو کوڑے کے ساتھ مارنا شروع کیا تو آپ نے اپنا سر مبارک جھکا دیا اور فرمایا اس سر کو مارو جس نے عرصہ دراز تک اللہ تعالی کی نافرمانی کی ہے وہ شخص عاجز آگیا اور وہاں سے چلا گیا۔
He, may God bless him and grant him peace, shrugged his shoulders:
Hazrat Sahl bin Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) says: I prepared the company of Hazrat Ibrahim bin Adham (may Allah have mercy on him) and I fell ill. He spent his money on me. When I recovered, I asked where is the saddle, he said, we have sold it, I asked who I will ride on, and he said, my brother, on my shoulders, he just Held me up three floors.
آپ رحمۃ اللہ علیہ نے کندھے پراٹھا لیا:
حضرت سہل بن ابراہیم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ فرماتے ہیں میں نے حضرت ابراہیم بن ادھم رحمۃ اللہ علیہ کی صحبت تیار کی اور میں بیمار ہوگیا انہوں نے اپنے اخراجات کا مال مجھ پر خرچ کر دیا پھر مجھے کچھ خواہش ہوئی تو انہوں نے اپنا درازگوش فروخت کرکے اس کی قیمت بھی مجھ پر خرچ کر دی جب میں ٹھیک ہوا تو میں نے عرض کی کہ درازگوش کہاں ہے تو انہوں نے فرمایا ہم نے اسے بیچ دیا ہے میں نے پوچھا کہ میں کس پر سواری کروں گا فرمایا میرے بھائی میرے کندھوں پر بس انہوں نے مجھے تین منزلیں اٹھائے رکھا۔
